What a Difference a Month Makes

WOW! What a difference one month makes. My husband and I lost 24 pounds in one month. That is just amazing to me. I lost 11.4 pounds which is 5.9% of my total weight, and I barely did anything. I cannot wait to really get moving. Wait a minute…

I need to rethink this. Maybe, this is the secret. I keep thinking about “moving” as traditional exercise. I have really been moving this whole month. I have been so busy and full of energy. My energy level has been so much better and that has seriously helped me get moving and get things done. What a blessing! So now that I think about it, maybe I have been moving all along without even thinking about it. My house is a little cleaner (it is still not perfect). My yard is a little neater. My classroom is a little more organized, and I have a little shorter ‘to do’ list than I had before. Awesome! This is great, because there is way too much for this mom to think about. The best part is that my health is improving and I want to spend time more time with my family. We have all spent time together at the lake and in the backyard working on the new deck together. I am now in the 170’s folks. That has not been a true statement since the year my sweet hubby and I married. I cannot wait for the next month. I have not seen the 160’s since before my oldest son was born. Is it possible to see that number again? Stayed tuned. We will all see together. I believe can, I believe I will, and I believe in VIP!
