Me, Myself, and VIP

So here’s the thing. Life as I knew it is gone. I grew up in a small town I mean small, 2500 people, no McDonald’s. One red light, and it only flashes.  Everybody knew everybody.  It was quaint and nice. Sure we got into trouble.  After all ‘boys will be boys’ as they say, but we were good kids and had good parents who gave us a life better than what they had.  People say I was good at football back then, I don’t remember it like that.  I was just on the team.  I dated a cheerleader and had a truck and was healthy and happy.  It’s the healthy part that I want to focus on here.  I have decided to do something I have never done in my 10 years of web development.  I am going to put myself out there. I am actually not going to create a persona or a stage name. It’s just me. Bobby.

I know what you’re thinking. If you have been successful in a world of wix, web, and weeblies why in the world would you change the secret sauce? WHY MAN WHY?  Trust me, I ask myself that too.  Do I really want to do this?  So much so that I did the unthinkable.  I stopped. I delayed the blog posts, researching and understanding the ins and outs of their business. But truthfully, if I am being honest here to you and to myself. I was stalling. I was scared. It had been a long time since I had put myself out there. Gone on record.

You see. I was always the little man behind the curtain. The client had always come first even when the money was wrong or Mickey was waiting and we were gonna be late or even miss my sons first touchdown( yes it really happened) I did not fail the client but I failed my family and I failed me.  So you ask me why, well the issue is just too close to me as a person to be separated from me as some second class knock off.  I want to give this my all.  I want this to be the last time in my life that I have to worry about whether or not that store will have clothes that fit me or people snickering behind my back.

So what is this all about?   This is a weekly blog about my pilgrimage to a slimmer me. I am not an expert. In fact if you look at my history of weight loss and gain, you could even say that I must be the opposite. I am really good at gaining weight. So after 5 years of working with Mark and Rhonda and the gang at VIP, I have finally decided to actually “work” with VIP on me.  This is the story of me, Bobby 360 lbs, and my client, VIP Weight Loss Clinic. I hope you find my story helpful.
